Job Description

iMerit, a leader in AI training, is seeking Expert AI Trainers with a PhD in Mathematics interested in shaping the evolution of Generative AI. In this role, you will craft original content, create problem-solving puzzles, and provide feedback to teach AI models to become more helpful, accurate, and safe in the domain of mathematical reasoning. This is a short-term, project-based, remote role.

Start date: last week of January

Project duration Approximately 4 days (4-8 hours a day)

After this project, there’s a strong possibility of bringing you onboard for additional projects.

Hiring process:

1 tech assessment: (online, google form, 30 min, unpaid)

2nd assessment: training and short test (paid)

• Create original problem sets, test questions, and scenarios to test an AI modelʼs mathematical problem- solving capabilities, from basic algebra to number theory
• Evaluate human and AI-generated prompt-response pairs for accuracy, completeness, relevance, and style
• Perform peer review of other AI Trainersʼ contributions
  
  

Requirements

• PhD in Mathematics
• Previous experience training LLMs and AI is strongly preferred
• Excellent English writing skills, with a strong sense of style, tone, and textual organization
• Proficiency in LaTeX and style guides for typesetting formal language
• Teaching, tutoring, research scholar, and/or curriculum design experience is a plus
