Job Description
The Contractor will provide functional implementation services for the State's Controller's Office during the planning, design, development, testing, and implementation phases of the State Payroll System (SPS) Project, specifically as part of a Workday implementation. The Contractor will collaborate with the State and System Integrator (SI) to support the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Workday SPS Solution.
Key responsibilities for this project will be shared among the implementation team:
The Contractor will provide functional implementation services for the State's Controller's Office during the planning, design, development, testing, and implementation phases of the State Payroll System (SPS) Project, specifically as part of a Workday implementation. The Contractor will collaborate with the State and System Integrator (SI) to support the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Workday SPS Solution.
Key responsibilities for this project will be shared among the implementation team:
- Design and configure core Human Resources (HR) and payroll capabilities within Workday.
- Manage requirements and traceability.
- Develop and execute test plans.
- Handle defect management.
- Analyze and design reports and interfaces.
- Provide training support.
- Conduct change impact analysis.
- Administer Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools.
- Perform data conversion services.
- A minimum of three (3) years of FTE experience in developing customer experience programs, applying methods and principles of employee experience and service design using new digital tools and techniques. At least two (2) years of that experience must have been able to collaborate with customers, data engineers, analysts, and subject matter experts with a variety of skills from different disciplines to create positive employee experience.
- Must be actively certified in at least one (1) of the following certifications in one (1) project management methodology from an industry recognized certification organization.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI)
- Program Management Professional (PMP) from the PMI
- Actively certified in at least one (1) of the following certifications from an industry-recognized certification organization:
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
- International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®) Certification
- Certified Software Tester
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) experience.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma
