About The Role
We're looking for UX Researcher to join our Product Research team, working alongsize two other researchers in the Growth space. This person will be responsible for conducting end-to-end research using a variety of qualitative research methods. Day-to-day responsibilities may include scoping and planning research projects, interviewing Etsy customers, synthesizing and reporting on insights, and using their learnings to inform product strategy.

Must-Haves
Strong Craft & Problem Solving:
- Proven experience as a qualitative UX researcher, ideally in a similar product development role
- Ability to think critically to identify root causes/questions to explore.
- Experience applying a range of user research methods & remote testing tools with an ability to distill learnings into actionable insights.
- Have approximately 2+ years experience conducting UX research, employing methods such as in-depth user interviews, contextual inquiry, journey mapping, participatory design, and usability testing
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks while allowing room for flexibility when needed
- Meticulous and able to manage multiple projects at a time
- Strong collaborator and communicator – communicate, facilitate decisions between PM, Design, and Data Science.
- This role is working alongside an experienced leadership team.
- Product research experience in eCommerce, dual sided marketplace
- Interview process - 45-60 min manager screen, followed by a 30-min knowledge or behavioral interview with 1-2 members of the hiring team.
