An International Corporation is expanding its Network Security team and is seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer to join their team in Rome.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, switches, and associated network protocols.
- Proactively implement virus detection systems to ensure robust network security.
- Identify and resolve security issues, including hardware malfunctions.
- Conduct security analyses and report findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain compliance with Information System Management Systems (ISMS) policies and regulatory systems.
- Investigate and respond to security breach alerts.
- Develop and enhance security authentication protocols.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of network security principles to protect organizational assets.
- Manage and configure firewalls across various vendor products, such as Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, and Palo Alto.
- Work with Content Delivery Systems, including F5 LTM and F5 GTM.
- Implement content filtering, email gateway security, and data security measures.
- Utilize multifactor authentication tools, such as CyberArk.
- Manage Web Application Firewalls (WAF) using Imperva and F5 ASM.
- Configure and troubleshoot IPSEC/SSL VPNs with CheckPoint, ASA, and F5.
- Apply shell scripting or development skills to enhance security operations.
- Utilize troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, Fiddler, and HTTPWatch.
- Extensive experience with Palo Alto, Checkpoint Firewall, and Imperva.
- Strong knowledge of F5 firewall configuration and management.
- Proficiency with Cisco switches, routers, and NSX.
- Experience with Firewall UTM, Sandboxing, and Application Control in CheckPoint.
- Solid understanding of routing and switching protocols, including OSPF and BGP.
- Certifications: Cisco CCIE Security, Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE).
- Hands-on experience with VMware virtualization stack (installation, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance), including VMware, vSAN, and NSX-T.
