Company Overview:

An International Corporation is expanding its Network Security team and is seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer to join their team in Rome.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, switches, and associated network protocols.
• Proactively implement virus detection systems to ensure robust network security.
• Identify and resolve security issues, including hardware malfunctions.
• Conduct security analyses and report findings to relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain compliance with Information System Management Systems (ISMS) policies and regulatory systems.
• Investigate and respond to security breach alerts.
• Develop and enhance security authentication protocols.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of network security principles to protect organizational assets.
• Manage and configure firewalls across various vendor products, such as Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, and Palo Alto.
• Work with Content Delivery Systems, including F5 LTM and F5 GTM.
• Implement content filtering, email gateway security, and data security measures.
• Utilize multifactor authentication tools, such as CyberArk.
• Manage Web Application Firewalls (WAF) using Imperva and F5 ASM.
• Configure and troubleshoot IPSEC/SSL VPNs with CheckPoint, ASA, and F5.
• Apply shell scripting or development skills to enhance security operations.
• Utilize troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, Fiddler, and HTTPWatch.
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Extensive experience with Palo Alto, Checkpoint Firewall, and Imperva.
• Strong knowledge of F5 firewall configuration and management.
• Proficiency with Cisco switches, routers, and NSX.
• Experience with Firewall UTM, Sandboxing, and Application Control in CheckPoint.
• Solid understanding of routing and switching protocols, including OSPF and BGP.
• Certifications: Cisco CCIE Security, Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE).
• Hands-on experience with VMware virtualization stack (installation, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance), including VMware, vSAN, and NSX-T.
