The Opportunity

Must-Haves

5+ years of experience on full-stack development including PHP, Javascript Frameworks such as React

Experience working with Product and Design partners to deliver front-end applications.

Familiarity with React with Redux (or similar Flux pattern), and jQuery javascript developmentPHP/MySQL backend stack

What You'll Be Working On

About The Team

We are a team of 6 full stack engineers behind Etsy’s experimentation platform, which is a critical tool for the company’s product development success. Teams across Etsy use the A/B Testing tools provided by the platform to learn, make product decisions, and measure the impact of new features. We promote standardization of experimentation methodologies across Etsy by partnering with business leaders and stakeholders.

Our core mission is to improve A/B testing tools and experiment ecosystem by:

• Making it easy to create and monitor the health of individual experiments.
• Incorporate novel Experimentation methodologies in the platform to increase experimentation velocity and accuracy.
• Measure the impact of an experiment by delivering reliable and speedy metrics computations.
  
  

About The Role

• Improve Etsy’s experimentation platform, including experiment bucketing, event logging, our offline data processes, and web UI for data visualization
• Work with Product and Design Partners to deliver on front-end projects in React/Redux for improving experimentation setup and management.
