Equal Experts is a unique software development consultancy, specializing in

providing solutions to complex business challenges through digital innovations. Our

primary focus lies in assisting clients with their digital transformation journeys,

encompassing the creation of new digital products and platforms, transitioning from

legacy systems, and establishing modern software delivery capabilities. We're

committed not only to building the right solutions but doing so in the right way.

Our business model is distinct, comprising exceptional employees and top-tier

independent contractors. We don't engage with recent graduates or mid-level

professionals, as our core proposition centers around delivering deep expertise,

experience, and skills. We are a privately-owned business with our co-founders

actively involved, and we have confirmed plans for an employee buyout (EBO) in

2025. Our founders and executives are dedicated to maintaining the company's

legacy for over 50 years, and they believe that preserving our status as a private

business, safeguards our values.

Our driving force is the creation of lasting value for our clients, extending well beyond

our engagements. With this ethos, we make decisions that prioritize our clients and

our team’s well-being. We carefully select our clients and projects to ensure success,

fostering fulfilling and psychologically safe work environments.

Equal Experts originated in the UK in 2007 and remains our largest business unit with

over 2000 active consultants. Our global annual revenue exceeds $200 million. Our

North American operations have been fully operational since 2019, with around 80

billable consultants, 50 based in North America, and the rest working from business

units, mainly in the UK. Given our history and size in North America, we are still in an

early growth stage, and this role is pivotal in shaping our future growth and strategy.

The Role

The Technical Principal role is an integral part of our business, serving as a senior

member of our business unit leadership team. It involves providing technical and

delivery assurance across multiple projects, building trust with clients, and actively

contributing to prospecting and sales activities.

What We Offer

In addition to a competitive compensation package comprising a base salary, profit

share, health insurance, and generous personal leave allowances, our unique culture

provides a rewarding experience. Our company has been recognized as one of the

best places to work by Glassdoor and Newsweek.

We prioritize creating a fulfilling work environment characterized by autonomy, trust,

and mutual support, emphasizing teamwork over individual excellence. We promote

a positive work-life balance, while being committed to our clients and work.

Our values and flat hierarchy enable us to focus on doing what's right for our

customers and our people.

This role will have the support of peers within the North America business unit, the

Equal Experts global network, including other client principals, consultants, service leads, and people managers, offering both a close-knit community and a vast source
