What You'll Be Working On

Versus creates engaging interactive content from any source, subject or topic – often

trending topics. Our AI transforms existing content into the Versus format and injects it

into our partners already existing content ecosystems, exposing their users to

entertaining, competitive and highly engaging gamified extended interaction. We create

increased session times, retention enhancement and loyalty with our prediction/opinion

style content adjacent to existing habits and behavior. Our b2b model embeds into sites,

apps, tv shows, and podcasts creating high frequency and recency lift for partners like

Disney, ABC, Microsoft, Forbes, Lionsgate, USA Today, UFC, TV Azteca, TMZ, The

Grammys, The Masked Singer and many others.

We monetize the partner user base via contextual, relevant and adaptive ads injected

into our core content, creating a whole new level of acceptable ad consumption native

to the environment. The use of our AI tech to generate, blend and gamify the ad

consumption itself on both mobile and desktop has created an exciting new opportunity

for advertisers dealing with high abandon rates and ad blockers from which Versus is

immune and enjoying exceptional user acceptance.

Versus is seeking a Senior Product Analyst with expertise in utilizing Amplitude for driving sophisticated analytics on behavioral patterns. The ideal candidate will be proficient in creating attitude profiles and leveraging Amplitude to measure and analyze user behavior effectively. This role will involve collaborating closely with engineering teams to integrate analytics into the product development cycle and influence the product roadmap.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize Amplitude to analyze user behavior and generate insights that drive product decisions.
  • Develop and maintain attitude profiles to understand user motivations and preferences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product Management, and Marketing, to integrate analytics into the product development lifecycle.
  • Influence product strategy and roadmap based on data-driven insights.

  • Design and implement experiments to test hypotheses and improve user engagement.
  • Identify key metrics and develop dashboards to track product performance.
  • Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to improve user experience and product performance.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience working as a Data Analyst or Product Analyst in a technology-driven environment.
  • Must be absolutely proficient and expert in utilizing Amplitude for behavioral analytics and generating actionable insights.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and influencing product strategy based on data-driven insights.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with A/B testing and experimentation methodologies.
  • Familiarity with the online ad, online gaming, social media, or online media space a plus
  • Familiarity with SQL, Python, or other programming languages for data analysis is a plus.
