Job Description

We are looking for a talented Google SecOps BI Specialist with expertise in Chronicle and Looker Studio databases to join our team and help drive our data-driven security initiatives.

Job Summary: As a Google SecOps BI Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our security operations by designing, developing, and implementing business intelligence solutions using Google Chronicle and Looker Studio. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze security data, develop insights, and create visualizations that enable our SecOps team to make informed decisions and improve our security posture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis & Visualization: Analyze large sets of security data using Google Chronicle, and develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations in Looker Studio to provide actionable insights.
• Security Operations Support: Work closely with the SecOps team to understand their data needs and deliver BI solutions that support incident response, threat detection, and security monitoring.
• Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources into Google Chronicle and Looker Studio to create comprehensive, real-time views of our security landscape.
• Automation & Optimization: Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and optimize existing BI processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and data engineering, to ensure seamless data flow and alignment with business objectives.
• Documentation & Training: Create and maintain detailed documentation of BI solutions and processes. Provide training and support to team members on using BI tools effectively.
• Trend Analysis: Conduct trend analysis on security incidents, vulnerabilities, and threats to identify patterns and recommend proactive measures.
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Google Chronicle and Looker Studio, including hands-on experience with data modeling, dashboard creation, and report generation.
• Strong understanding of security operations, incident response, and threat detection.
• Proficiency in SQL and other relevant programming languages for data analysis and integration.
• Experience with data integration from various sources into Chronicle and Looker Studio.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  
  

Note:

• 20-40 hours a week required
• Immediate start, 6 months and may get extended
• 1-2 rounds of technical evaluation is required
• Post noon in IST is preferred.
