About this role:

As a Legal Operations Associate, reporting to Legal & Business Affairs Manager, you’ll help operationalize and optimize our legal function. You’ll support contract management, regulatory tracking, IP workflows, cross-functional coordination, and the implementation of tools and processes that make legal work more efficient. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a startup environment, enjoys working at the intersection of law, technology, and operations, and wants to grow with the company.

Key Responsibilities

Contract Management:

  • Manage the contract lifecycle from intake to execution and archiving
  • Maintain and optimize our CLM system (e.g., LinkSquares)
  • Track renewal deadlines and key contract terms


Process & Compliance Support:

  • Implement and maintain legal workflows, playbooks, and SOPs
  • Assist with compliance efforts (e.g., export control, privacy regulations like GDPR/CCPA, open source usage)
  • Support audits and internal documentation needs


Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Serve as the legal team’s liaison with finance, product, sales, engineering, and HR
  • Support commercial insurance renewal cycle to ensure adequate limits, pricing and appropriate policies are in place to support the business


IP and Corporate Work:

  • Support IP filings and patent/trademark coordination
  • Help track patent, trademark and other IP registrations
  • Maintain corporate governance and subsidiary management records


Tooling and Data:

  • Fully integrate Contract Lifecycle Management software (LinkSquares) into business processes
  • Monitor and report on legal team KPIs and OKRs

What you will bring:

        • Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate
        • 4+ years of experience in legal operations, paralegal work, or legal project management
        • Experience in a startup or tech company (hardware or software) preferred
        • Familiarity with contract lifecycle management and document management tools
        • Exposure to privacy, product compliance, or IP law
        • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
        • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
        • Comfort with ambiguity and fast-moving environments
        • Successfully complete pre-employment onboarding requirements that may include criminal/civil background checks
