Your Role
We are looking for an experienced Sales & Business Development professional to drive AlpineAI’s growth across the Swiss public sector. Your mandate is to build strong, trust-based relationships with municipalities, cities, cantonal administrations, and social authorities, helping them understand and adopt our next-generation AI solutions.
You will identify opportunities, shape partnerships, and guide decision-makers through the journey of digital transformation. Responsibilities
Market Expansion & Client Acquisition
- Identify, target, and engage municipalities, cities, and cantonal institutions.
- Analyze administrative workflows and uncover where generative AI can create meaningful impact.
- Manage the entire sales cycle—from first contact to closing long-term agreements.
Public-Sector Solution Consulting
- Understand stakeholder needs and translate them into actionable product requirements.
- Present AlpineAI’s solutions to administrative leaders, “Fachstellen”, IT departments, and executive decision-makers.
- Position AlpineAI as a trusted innovation partner within the public sector.
Account Management & Partnership Building
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key authorities.
- Ensure customer satisfaction, adoption, and retention across all ongoing projects.
- Act as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts.
Internal Collaboration & Market Intelligence
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to relay market insights, regulatory nuances, and customer priorities.
- Monitor market trends, policy changes, and competitive developments within the Swiss public sector.
- Represent AlpineAI at conferences, public-sector networks, and industry events.
Requirements
GenAI & Technical Competence
- Good understanding of LLM technology, including multimodal models, and prompting strategies.
- Hands-on familiarity with AI system capabilities and limits
- Ability to demo, prototype, or translate AI features into concrete use cases for authorities.
- Ability to understand and explain technical and AI-related concepts clearly and credibly.
Domain Expertise
- Strong background working with Swiss public-sector stakeholders (municipalities, cities, cantons, or social institutions).
- Demonstrated success in sales, business development, or consultative selling—preferably in tech, digitalization, or public-sector innovation.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with administrative leaders and political stakeholders.
- Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and decision-making processes.
- Proactive, structured working style with a high degree of ownership and reliability.
Languages
- Professional fluency in Swiss-German, German, English is required, French is a big plus.
- Additional Swiss national languages are a plus.
