Almond is a forward-thinking, female-led health-tech organization dedicated to revolutionizing the patient experience and improving clinical outcomes. Our goal is to rebuild ObGyn care to be convenient and organized, with treatments tailored to each individual's lifestyle. We prioritize patient-centered care through a team-based approach and utilize technology to improve efficiency and accessibility. Unlike systems built decades ago for primary care, we are focused on building tools and teams specifically for women's care.

As an early-stage company, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our founders and executive team to shape the organization's marketing strategy and roadmap. This role is significant because it involves not only growing the company, but also creating a new approach to ObGyn care and addressing the unmet needs of millions of American women.

YOUR IMPACT

- Define and own a growth marketing strategy and implementation plan that focuses on increasing engagement and driving conversion to widen our patient base

- Work cross functionally with our product, operations and clinical teams to launch data driven initiatives to support patient retention and satisfaction

- Own execution of advertising campaigns across a wide range of marketing channels including SEO, social media, and paid media

- Utilize data to track and report on key performance metrics against Almond business objectives

- Develop a high-performance growth marketing playbook that prioritizes market growth

- Manage relationships with 3rd party marketing vendors

- Utilize creative storytelling to inspire a shift in health culture

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

- 5+ years of professional experience in marketing - growing a patient/customer base

- Proven track record working in early-stage, scrappy marketing teams to develop effective SEM strategies including campaign optimization

- Powered by a data driven mindset to develop innovative, evidence based programs and initiatives

- In depth knowledge of paid search advertising platforms such as Google search, Facebook, and Instagram

- Thrive in a fast paced, start-up environment and comfortable using a test and learn strategy

- Embrace challenges and have experience making complex decisions that involve tradeoffs, even when there is no clear "right" answer

- Driven by a strong passion to revolutionize the healthcare industry

- Excellent communication and copywriting skills

- Self starter who enjoys collaborating with a strong team to build programs from 0 —> 1

- Experience is healthcare and working with brick and mortar locations

- Preferably based in Los Angeles for a hybrid role but open to remote

We are early and we've had great traction -- we raised VC funds from top investors including YCombinator and the founders of Sweetgreen, Carbon Health, Oura Ring, and others, hired an extraordinary team, opened our first location in West Hollywood, and started seeing patients. Best of all, patients are loving their experience (we have an NPS of 100!) which is so, so awesome.

Why are we working on this? There are 130M women in the US who need at least one ObGyn visit a year and 75% of them are unhappy with their experience. Care is slow, and our health is poor and expensive. We have come to expect our problems won't be solved. The US has the highest maternal mortality rate among developed economies and ObGyn is the biggest medical specialty after primary care -- and yet no modern alternatives exist for American women. Today’s options are failing us.
