About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Engineer to join our dynamic sales team in the EMEA region. This role is crucial in driving Airship's growth by providing expert technical pre-sales support, delivering compelling product demonstrations, and collaborating with customers and internal teams to architect high business value solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of mobile and web technologies and engagement strategies and a passion for helping businesses achieve their desired outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver compelling and tailored product demonstrations of the Airship platform to prospective customers
  • Develop a deep understanding of Airship technologies and how they can be applied to solve customer challenges.
  • Collaborate effectively with the sales team, product team, and other internal stakeholders to align on strategic initiatives and provide seamless customer experiences
  • Partner with customers during the pre-sales process to understand their business needs, conduct solution discovery, and map business outcomes to Airship products
  • Contribute to the development of responses to RFPs (Request for Proposals)
  • Provide ongoing technical consultation and support to customers throughout their evaluation and purchasing journey
  • Act as a trusted advisor, demonstrating Airship's commitment to delivering high-value engagements
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in mobile and web engagement

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Sales Engineer or in a similar customer-facing technical role, preferably within the mobile or marketing technology space
  • Fluency in both English and French is required
  • Strong technical background relating to mobile apps, web, email, sms and experience using REST APIs
  • Hands-on experience with mobile applications, web technologies, and APIs
  • Ability to quickly understand complex technologies and explain them in a clear and concise manner
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence technical and business stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
  • A strong desire for continuous learning and professional development
  • Experience in solution architecture and designing technical solutions
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience experimenting with AI tools in your personal or professional life - or an eagerness to learn!

Work Location & Travel Requirements

Airship’s ‘Digital First’ approach to work means that for the majority of our roles, work can be performed remotely, either some or most of the time. Airship believes that flexible work contributes to a more productive and more equitable work environment, and that Airshippers are able to collaborate, innovate, and support one another across different locations and timezones.

Some roles may require that employees perform their work from a specific location to support business activities, and/or be within proximity to an Airship office location or customer or partner locations, while other roles can be performed 100% remotely.

This position is remote/hybrid and will be based in or around London. We have a WeWork office in central London where the sales teams meet regularly for team initiatives. We offer a nice view of Tower Bridge, Tower of London and the Thames.

Compensation

Airship’s compensation is determined by a variety of factors including market data, business needs, and geography. Base pay is part of your total compensation package and is dependent on multiple factors, including: relevant skills, work experience, business priorities, market demands, and location.

The starting base pay range for this position is: £95,000 - £105,000 GBP per year. Some roles may also be eligible for commission, bonus, or other performance incentives. Airship believes that employees should have the opportunity to benefit from value-creation, so equity is also offered with this role. In addition, Airship offers a robust benefits package as part of our Total Rewards approach to compensation.
