About the role

Reporting to the HR Director, and working closely with our Office & Engagement Manager and HR Advisor, this is a broad generalist role with a focus on both recruitment and core HR delivery. You’ll play a key role in supporting leaders and employees across the full employee lifecycle, balancing operational excellence with a proactive, people-first approach.

What you’ll be doing

  • Through our exceptional employer brand you will lead end-to-end recruitment across all business areas, from advertising and screening to supporting the successful onboarding of new starters.

  • Providing expert support and advice on employee relations matters, ensuring fairness, consistency, and alignment with our values.

  • Managing payroll and benefits, working with external providers to ensure smooth and accurate processes.

  • Supporting employee engagement initiatives — from surveys and feedback to recognition and wellbeing activities.

  • Partnering with managers to drive great people practices and help our teams grow and perform.

  • Supporting the delivery of HR projects and initiatives that make our culture and employee experience even stronger.

  • Be an advocate and champion strong internal communications and work with the HR team to ensure consistent and clear communications are delivered across different channels.

About you

You’ll be a confident and approachable HR generalist who enjoys getting stuck in. You will bring curiosity, initiative, and a genuine interest in how our business works - our customers, our growth plans, and how every person contributes to our success.

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • Solid HR experience across the employee lifecycle (CIPD Level 5+ or equivalent experience would be beneficial but we will be willing to fund a qualification)

  • Previous experience in a HR Manager or HR Team lead role

  • Great understanding of UK employment law and best practice

  • Hands-on recruitment experience, ideally in a tech or growth business

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • A proactive, positive approach — with a genuine passion for people and culture
