Are you ambitious and ready to advance your career in a business focused on their employee's growth and development? We are looking to hire a Graduate Sales Development Representative where there is an abundance of opportunity to progress into Account Management and new business sales. 65% of our current sales and account management teams progressed internally from SDR roles!
You will join a well-established and thriving SDR team and will collaborate with marketing, sales, account management and marketing to research, identify, prospect and qualify new sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- You will develop your understanding of the finance sector and key decision makers across multiple defined markets to build quality leads to prospect to.
- You will develop AccessPay product knowledge and will build your ability to articulate the value proposition of our solution to potential customers. (training will be provided).
- You will undertake new business development through outbound contact via email, calls and social channels.
- You will enhance campaigns by creating individualised persona-based marketing content, including personalised emails and videos.
- You will effectively source leads and convert these into opportunities for the sales team striving to hit and exceed given KPIS and targets.
- Develop your knowledge of the MEDDIC sales approach and apply appropriate parts of this to your prospecting and qualifying.
- You will use Outreach and Salesforce to record and track all activities.
- Using strong organisation skills you will expertly manage a pipeline of prospects and leads.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Essential:
- You need to be a highly motivated individual who is self-driven.
- A positive attitude, able to remain resilient and take initiative.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- You will be organised, diligent, methodical and combine this with initiative to leverage data to maximise outreach campaigns.
- Strong motivation and desire to succeed in a tech sales business.
- A competitive nature
Preferred:
- You have had a previous fintech or accountancy background which could include an undergraduate or postgraduate degree that is finance-related.
- Some prior experience in a sales role.
- If prior experience in a sales role, a proven track record of hitting/exceeding targets.
- Experience of using systems such as Sales Navigator, Outreach, Salesforce and Cognism.
